Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Devs Talk Discuss PS4 version

They guys behind Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag get all mushy about the superior tech advantages that the PlayStation 4 has over its predecessor. Mostly because they are barely scratching the surface and finally being able to add the little details that change the games overall feel.

The biggest thing we are taking away from this, is that there aren't any loading screens going from the land to your big ass pirate ship! This probably means no loading time when you go through a door or go into a different area of the world as well.

Don't get your panties all in a bunch Xbox fans, we're sure that once Microsoft shows off their new shiny console in a few weeks, Ubisoft will be talking all nice about that console too. But, today is PlayStation 4's day it soak in the compliments.

Gran Turismo Celebrating 15 Years with New Game?

Gran Turismo Invite

15 years can come and go really fast if you are spending it flying down roads at 150 plus mpg. Sony has decided to celebrate this milestone by holding festivities at the Silverstone Race Circuit in England on May 15 and will have a lot of car manufactures there, probably showing off some super cars for fans.

They will also be showing off "the future of the brand" at the event. For those of us not lucky enough attend, they will be streaming it all right here so you can watch it from the comforts of your couch.

Disney and EA Announce Multi-Year Agreement

A lot of people were starting to get worried that once Disney bought the Star Wars rights from George Lucas. Those same people got even more worried when Disney closed Lucas Arts studios and canceled all their games in progress. Not to worry anymore, Disney has just officially handed over the reigns to EA today, making them the exclusive Star Wars....game maker people. EA already has studios that have made Star Wars games like the Legos entries and Star Wars the Old Republic.

EA has also announced that Visceral and DICE will be the studios developing games for the mega publisher. No word yet if these studios will be picking up currently dead Star Wars games like Star Wars 1313 that we are sure everyone was drooling over at E3 last year.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist Spies Vs. Mercs

Ubisoft has decided to push all of those who are still sitting on the ledge about Splinter Cell: Blacklist, off said ledge. Today they have given us a taste of Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode which is pretty much what the title says. One group plays as the spies who can hide in shadows and see in the dark while the other group of players are the mercs, who get extra body armor and kick ass flashlights to spot the spies!

Check out the trailer below. This game might just be a great change of pace for all those FPS shooters that run, run, run and run around trying to kill everyone they see.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Finally Teased. Release Date November 5

Activision today announced Call of Duty: Ghosts which is the next installment in the cash cow Call of Duty franchise. They will be showing of what we assume is the first footage of the game at the upcoming Xbox event on May 21.

They did mention that of course Infinity Ward was the studio behind this installment (seeing as it was their turn in the rotation) and that it will have a brand new engine finally. The last engine has been worn out like a 2 dollar hooker with being used on the last 6 Call of Duty games.

But anyway, it seems they are done with the whole story line from Modern Warfare as well because they said there is a whole new cast and story line as well. So no, this game isn't going to be a prequel about Ghost who died at the end of Modern Warfare 3. Oops, SPOILER!

Oh yeah, they also gave us a release date for November 5 and a little teaser trailer. The game will also be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 along with the new consoles coming out.
