PlayStation Network down again tomorrow

Sony just gave us a heads up. Tomorrow PSN will down for scheduled maintenance from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. PST. My only question is, if the maintenance is scheduled why not start the fucking maintenance at like 3 in the morning when there are less people affected?

Time for all you Xbox 360 fanboys to start rubbing it in with, "that's why we pay $50 a year." Oh wait, some of you do pay that money for PSN. Sorry PlayStation Plus members, you just got fucked! Pull out those dusty Xbox 360's out if you got them.

  1. I have both Xbox 360 and PS3, but I only pay for Xbox Live. This is why I would never pay for a Sony equivalent. I have no trouble paying for quality service, but there is no way I'd waste money and not be able to use the service for entire days at a time. It's pathetic, really, and is clearly one of many reasons that Microsoft dominates them in the market. Sony's hardware is superior, but more and more games are heavily weighted towards the online experience, and in this area, Sony fails miserably to provide a reliable and competitive service. If I had to choose 1 over the other, this would absolutely make my decision for me. As a matter of fact, it's the very reason I have an Xbox in addition to my PS3. I have been a loyal PS owner since the first one came out, but Xbox live is superior to PSN in absolutely every way. Sony is digging a very large grave for the future PS4, and virtually guaranteeing that only the most hard core fanboys will buy one over the future Xbox 720. There's been rumor milling about new hardware, but if Sony doesn't step up with PSN, new hardware will be a waste of time as the future of games is moving towards more and more online features.
